vin doesn't understand most of what's in the lab, but there's little to do here other than wander around in the hopes of finding something useful. that's what brings her back to this area, but when she sees the monster and jiuqing (who she's assuming, perhaps unfairly, based on her clothing and general looks is a noblewoman who won't know how to fight), she's immediately pulling out a shard of glass from her belt. tugging her sleeve down so she isn't handling the makeshift weapon barehanded, she beckons the other woman back. in a hushed tone:]

so she waits, busying herself with sorting through the remaining medical supplies in the medbay and setting aside some of the first aid items that would be good for the injuries she'd seen on her before she was carried away. it's possible vin won't need any of them, but she'd rather be prepared, just in case.
whenever she does come out of the pod - which i don't know how long that'll be, i can't see your pod comment - she's there waiting.]

vax is alive. percy is alive, too, which feels like a miracle. malik is dead, which - well, she'll be honest, it sucks. and jiuqing has presumably used the pod and/or done some actual medical care, so she's not in imminent danger of bleeding out all over the place even if i do think it would be funny as hell to just drop dead in a pc and let you find the body.
anyway, she's got gauze and proper bandages around her neck, and she's looking through some of the other medical supplies, setting aside things she plans to use to help percy and vax in case they don't use the pods long enough to be 100% healed.]
