anyway! greenhouse it is. it was about this time last week that jiuqing had planted some seeds here, and so she's here to gather them now. she's working steadily, crouched in front of a set of planters: harvesting the herbs, separating them into bundles, and leaving some cuttings behind so that they'll continue to grow.
when she hears the door open, she doesn't look up. if someone else is here in search of peace and quiet, she doesn't want to disturb them.]
anyway, she does not say yes. she looks up when vin speaks, recognizing her voice, and ceases in her work for a few moments. then she shakes her head, and resums sorting some of the plants she's harvested.]

jiuqing pauses for a moment, thinking about that, and then gestures for vin to crouch down next to her. they're working at a planter of chamomile for now.]
It's the flowers we'll want for these. Press your fingers to the stem, here - [she pinches the stem just beneath the flower head] ...and then pluck it off. Once they've dried out, we can use them to make medicinal teas, or to grind down into powdered medicine or mash it into a poultice.
...but the tea is easiest. It's known to ease anxiety and help one sleep.
