[but okay, food. it's a simple enough question that even she doesn't get awkward answering it! until she realizes she doesn't really know the answer, that is.]

[frowning slightly. vin that's only three. anyways.]

Fried tofu and braised pigeon are pretty good... and sweets, but... it's hard to pick just one or two of them...

What is... tofu? And pigeon?

Tofu is made from soybeans... it's usually cut into squares, and then fried or simmered in a variety of flavorful sauces, then mixed with other vegetables. Pigeon is a type of bird, like chicken.

I don't eat it often, but there's a restaurant in the capital that prepares it very well...

[glancing towards the zombies to see if that's enough. they shake their heads again.]

I grew up in Suzhou, which is a few days' journey from the capital. But we moved there after my father was promoted at court when I was fifteen.

...I am not from one particular place. But the place I was staying in before this was called Fellise. It is not far from the capital.
