Splinting it may be an option, to keep it from getting bumped or damaged until someone who is able to set it right can see to you. That should also help it regain some of the correct shape...
Most people who have told me they can handle such things themselves have been lying. [MEN.] Could you show me how? Or explain it to me, if it would require two hands?
[ Perhaps for the best, the unamused expression that's drawn on 9S' face is obscured by the visor. ]
It was part of my job to know how to do maintenance. I don't have any of the tools that'll let me fix it right here, but...
[ Crunchy arm means the process of peeling back some of the metal frame of his body is made a little easier, though if the grimaces 9S makes is anything to go by, it isn't the most pleasant of experiences. Don't ask me how this works with artificial skin, canon never tells me. Anyway. It ends up exposing metal, wires, iron rods—that sort of thing. ]
A lot of this got damaged. Like this here—
[ Cue him going into a really technical explanation of what's broken and what would need to be replaced... ]
[jiuqing listens attentively - this isn't something she's seen before, but she's a quick learner, and though his explanation is rather technical, there's a lot she's able to figure out for context, just by paying attention to what he's saying at the same time as he's working with his own arm.
the end result is that she asks the occasional clarifying question and watches as he makes adjustments to his arm. with enough time and effort, she thinks, it could probably be smoothed out from how it's been crushed - although that does seem like it would be painful.]
...I see, that makes a certain amount of sense—

[huh. he was easier to bully than he expected.]
Is there somewhere you prefer to do this? The medical bay would be easiest, but I also keep some supplies in my bag if you'd rather go elsewhere.
[since uh

Just—somewhere quiet. Anywhere.

It won't be as much of a problem getting to your plants now.
