We had flower gardens where I grew up, and I used to bring them into my room as decoration. When I was younger, I enjoyed arranging them in vases myself.

I think for this, since they're to decorate tables where people may be sitting and eating, they should be a little smaller than your average vase...

I was mostly joking, anyway! [ pauses to catch a little vase and sets it down before her. ] I'd never ruin someone's big day like that for real. That's why we've got to turn this thing back around and make it a happy occasion, right?

[she's quiet for a moment, idly arranging some of the flowers into the vase when it appears in front of her, and then she smiles.]

[ he watches her set up the flowers with a small smile. ]

We can't be too careful when someone's whole future is on the line, you know? They totes deserve something happy - even if the groom doesn't deserve the bride.
