I was mostly joking, anyway! [ pauses to catch a little vase and sets it down before her. ] I'd never ruin someone's big day like that for real. That's why we've got to turn this thing back around and make it a happy occasion, right?

[she's quiet for a moment, idly arranging some of the flowers into the vase when it appears in front of her, and then she smiles.]

[ he watches her set up the flowers with a small smile. ]

We can't be too careful when someone's whole future is on the line, you know? They totes deserve something happy - even if the groom doesn't deserve the bride.

[ ...as he turns away to to keep an eye out, he gets whacked right in the face with a bunch of monochrome flowers! not hard, and if she's watching it miiiiiiiiight seem like he sort of just let it happen, but it's hard to say for sure. ]

she sees the motion out of the corner of her eye as she's working on the arrangement and gasps lightly, distracted from what she was going to say.]

[ he just brushes them away with a laugh. there are petals in his hair. ]

Yeah, no prob! It's just a couple of flowers. I've been hit with worse before!

anyway, she reaches over to pick a petal or two out of his hair.]

Hmm... I think most likely they'd be going on the tables. Many of them don't have decorations, see?

Ooh, you're right. No wonder she's upset; there's no balance out here!

And hey, maybe if we tie some up with ribbons, we can decorate the chairs, too?
