that execution did not go the way she expected it to? and frankly, for the most part, she's glad for it. malik is gone, and that loss stings - he didn't deserve it warring with was he the one who killed chinatsu? in her heart - but against all odds, percy and vax somehow made it back alive.

[ after the events of today she is...exhausted, but relieved. relieved that vax and percy made it out alive. though there is that part of her that feels horrible for what happened to malik...even if he may have killed chinatsu, going out in the way he did? no one deserved that.

when she comes into the medbay she's on the look out for jiuqing, so when she spots her she's immediately striding over. ]

Jiuqing! [ she kneels down, next to the cot, smiling back at her. ] I'm so glad you're okay.
