[ it's a school dance! this is the night all teenagers dream of, isn't it? well. maybe not you. you'd much rather be back in your dorm room or doing something, anything else, but attending this dance.

but you have to...Weiss and Yang worked so hard to put this together for everyone, plus all of your friends are here! you can't run away now.

and perhaps the dance itself isn't so bad, not as bad as these heels they've gotten you into. seriously, how does Weiss fight in these things??? you can barely walk more than a single step, without almost breaking your ankle! horrible.

you try, at least, to enjoy yourself...but unfortunately you're far too awkward for your own good, and Yang left you! betrayal...so you stick to the back, watching all of the fun from a distance.

and then, when the coast is clear, you make a run for it!

...but that's a lot. jiuqing has never seen a school dance before. and there's so much more technology in ruby's memory than she's really used to - unsurprising, since ruby seems to come from a much more advanced world than her own - but what's happening is easy enough to follow.

ruby spots someone sneaking around who shouldn't be, and follows her. that tracks. she's not the type of person who could simply look away when something is wrong.

the fighting is impressive (doubly so, with her dealing with those shoes), but then - in the blink of an eye, her opponent vanishes. what?]

That's... where did she go? What was she trying to do there?
