Isn't it the best? People use 'em in the future to take these things called "selfies"! They're like self-portraits but you can do whatever you want in 'em, so they get really creative and do wild makeup looks or take pictures in super cool places.

Ring lights light up your face nicely and give it a super glamorous glow! And sticker apps just let you add cute stuff to your picture, kinda like- [Flipping his phone around! Showing off his half-finished Lisa Frank masterpiece!] -adding real stickers to stuff.
As for water... well, we have some canals, but most people draw water from wells. I believe things may be a little different at the imperial palace, though.
