I'm struggling to think of things I will miss, if I'm being honest, except perhaps these.

Ugh... Yeah, the phone thing is gonna suck. If the shower wasn't so garbage, you'd probably miss that too, but. I mean. It's a cold shower that you're sharing with, like, forty people.

I miss being able to soak in hot water.

Oh my god, don't remind me... Where I live, we have a whole onsen - like, hot springs? It's really big and always smells super nice.

Ugh, right? And we can't even make anything like that on our own...

Some of the people we met earlier mentioned asking the prism for things... maybe if we get better at communicating with it and ask nicely, it will give us one.

But maybe just practicing more with what we've got will help us use more colors in general?

Perhaps not, but once the base structure is built we could strengthen it so it would last longer...

But I think that's a good idea. It's like any other skill, isn't it? You have to practice it before you can do more than just the basics.

God, learning a new weird skill is definitely not what I thought I'd be doing with my time here. [Though he figures it'll eventually contribute to his ultimate goal of Escape.]

Well... the way they just showed up so suddenly earlier is a little suspicious. But if they're telling the truth, it will be good to have them on our side.

Yeah... I almost feel kinda bad for 'em since some people were already giving 'em grief. If they're being honest, this situation's gotta suck for those guys just as much.

If they're telling the truth, it really must.

...but I suppose it's too soon to know if they are, isn't it? Still... they haven't been hostile to us. I don't see any reason not to proceed as if they're being honest, as long as we keep our guards up. Trusting them wholeheartedly would be a little foolish, but I'd like to believe they're being sincere about this.

[As much as he'd been giving other people grief about their paranoia, it's not like he's stupid enough to blindly trust strangers in an alien world when they're the only ones who seem to have a leg up on information.]

I'm kinda pissed, though... I was hoping we'd just be able to beat up some kidnappers and get back home.

Well... the good thing is there are a lot of us here. Some of us can come up with ideas, and others can build on those ideas.
