Hot Pants, tearfully telling the young man, her heart weighed with sorrow at the sin she committed, about becoming a nun, and yet unable to leave the past behind. And then, throwing everything into the search for a corpse of a saint, in the hopes she would find forgiveness.]
[And her sins, wrapping around her, stifling, crushing her body even as she implores the man to save himself-]
[Hot Pants stands, and....ducks her head. She doesn't even want to look at Su right now.]
jiuqing doesn't know how to make sense of what she's seeing. she knows these bubbles have been forcing them to see each others' memories, but - hot pants's experiences are wildly different from her own. she doesn't know what these corpse parts are, and she's never seen anything like what's surrounding her.
she reaches up to touch hot pants's shoulder, but before she can say anything, her own memories come spilling out.
[Her mind is racing. First, reminded of her grave sin. And then, seeing all of that...]
[Su used, betrayed, killed, all for...what? She's the one, though her hand is shaking, to reach out to grab the other's shoulder, firm.]
They should have never... [Her voice is wavering. She's throwing herself on Su's memories instead of her own.] They should have never laid a finger on you.
