Hmm... well, this is simplifying it quite a bit, but in essence it's identifying parts of the body to put pressure on with needles to provide relief from certain symptoms or to identify certain illnesses.

Miss, I'm a doctor. We may not have the supplies needed for stitches right now, but depending on the exact condition of your wound there may be other treatments I can suggest until we do. It will also help me if I know what it looks like before I go looking for stitching supplies, so I know exactly how much I'll need.
