Miss, I'm a doctor. We may not have the supplies needed for stitches right now, but depending on the exact condition of your wound there may be other treatments I can suggest until we do. It will also help me if I know what it looks like before I go looking for stitching supplies, so I know exactly how much I'll need.

In the meantime, cleaning the wound with a bit of fresh water will help prevent anything from infecting it.
But I think this can definitely be stitched, once we get the proper supplies.
