Why does it get messier with every update...? I should mention, the residents have a pretty bad reaction when showed things that could belong to the Dreamer. But they didn't really mind a scarf I think belongs to someone else. So... Have they said anything about the other three when asked?
I don't think they fully remember them. I showed Marigold the gun holster that apparently belonged to Scout, and all he could say was that he had a bad feeling about it but didn't quite recognize it. I plan on talking to him more about this, however, since he's shown a willingness to confront his lost past.
I've asked Bass about Dreamer and the others, before.
He says he remembers Dreamer as being someone who pretended to be nice, but was the opposite; he does not care for them or think them to be trustworthy. He recalls Thinker as someone who was kind to him. That was all he could remember of the latter.
We suspect Dreamer may be pulling from the same source that we do to create the other dreams, as well.
I'd wondered before if they were related to him. An ability of his own made creating dreams familiar to him, and then when we were in Bass and Riff's city-- there were pigs, apparently.
His assumption is that something or someone is, more or less, borrowing the same color accumulation we are to do the same thing. Utilizing that power, but not needing to take it from him directly; he does not think himself to be in danger. Our best guess is that the pig tattoos reflect whether one did the task the dream gave them or not, as Bass says he does not think Dreamer likes being ignored.
And the content of the dreams... others have said more than one asked if we'd like to know how to get out of here, which may line up with the note we found last week.
...that would make sense. was it the third week that malik had a pig tattoo? that week all of the makeup went missing from our apartment. none of us confessed to it, but knowing we can have tasks after having strange dreams... i wonder if that was his task.
Kashuu could not be absolutely certain, but he believes Malik did do his task, yes. I've been in contact with him regarding them, as I knew him to be one of the first aware of their existence.
