[jiuqing is outside the apartments, contemplating whether she should head back to her floor or keep going until she's up on the roof and can get to the greenhouse - which is ultimately not a big difference i keep forgetting the metallic apartment is the highest floor.
anyway, she's quiet and deep in thought when she comes across prompto, but she at least does see him. she doesn't bump into him, and instead greets him with a nod.]
luckily, someone has taught jiuqing to use the elevators, so she heads for that instead of the stairs. prompto narrowly escapes having to walk a bunch of flights up.]
It's not too difficult, but I'd be glad to show you.
[ding! eventually, the elevator lets them out and they head for the roof. jiuqing enters the greenhouse and crosses over to a set of planters on the far side, crouching down to examine some of them.]
Let's do the peppermint first. For these, we'll just want to pull off the leaves. Be sure to leave some of them, though - we can encourage it to keep growing, so there will be more for later.
[ he's with her until they arrive at the greenhouse. he's going to pause to take out his camera to snap a quick pic, then he'll go kneel down beside her. ]
So they grow faster with company? [ he'll work on pulling off the leaves. ] Has anyone asked for you to make something for their breath with it?
Well... it's not calming in the same way as peppermint is, but I enjoy hibiscus tea a lot. Chrysanthemum tea is good for calming, though. Actually... maybe I should plant some of those.
[hmm. once they're done with the peppermint, she'll have to check on the seeds to see if they have them.]
I tried chamomile after coming here, and it's been good to help me sleep. We can harvest that next.
[ returning the leaves to the pile. a stache of mint ]
That's good! This might sound a bit lame, but I made blanket fort with a friend. It helped out a little bit with sleep because it's pretty cozy in there.
week two, sunday

honestly? he's just lowkey anxious vibing because people are upset when he sees her. lifting his hand up to give her a slight wave. ]
Hey, Doc. How are you doing? Wait, that's kind of stupid to ask. That couldn't have been easy to see.

[it's touch week, so she reaches over and pats his shoulder]
Would you like to join me for some tea? I've been growing chamomile in the greenhouse, and I think it's about time to harvest it.

there's a pause before he gives a nod. ]
Yeah, tea would be nice. I can even help you harvest if you want.

[steadily pulling off peppermint leaves and putting them in a pile.]
Hmm? No, not yet. I suppose it would sweeten the breath, wouldn't it? ...I'd intended to use this for tea - it's very calming.

[ slowly adding to the pile. ]
I really should try more tea. I've always been more of a soda and juice kind of guy.
no subject
[she hums, adding to the pile as well.]
The sodas here are... interesting. I'd never had anything like them before.

[ time to grab two of the bigger leaves and put them under his nose to make mintstache ]
Yeah? What flavors have you tried?

[she nods. jiuqing has a taste for floral teas - and she would even if they didn't have medicinal uses. it's fine.
as he continues, tough, she tilts her head to one side.]
A... blanket fort?
no subject
[ Pretty tea for the pretty doctor. ]
Yeah, a blanket fort. It's when you make something like a tent with sheets, pillows, and blankets.

Well... sure, why not? It would be neat to see something I've never seen before.
