this is soft. jiuqing may not understand precisely what's happening there (how can meteion access a... shared consciousness? she knows what those words mean, individually, but she doesn't understand what they mean together, in that context), but she can tell that it's warm, and hopeful.

Hermes is the one that created me. [ her creator. ] So that makes me, his familiar. I'm.. not sure I know of any other words that can describe it, but. He made me, for a purpose, and so I help him around.

It seemed like you two got along well. It didn't seem like it was just... helping. From what I saw, he seemed to be very fond of you.

I do feel, what he feels, and the.. happiness, contentment he feels with me, I feel with him, too. [ so yeah, he is fond of her! and she is of him! ] He is, very important to me.

Yes... my mother. She's the most important person in the world to me.

What's she like? Does she do a lot of.. studying too? Like you?

She's very kind, and very patient, sometimes almost to a fault. She doesn't study medicine the way I do, but she's skilled with bookkeeping and managing household expenses.
