jiuqing spots him by the railing and walks over, leaning against it and looking out at the colorful lights. her vibes are much less calm than they were at the execution - she's not taking care to stay in contact with the stone on her hairpin - and they run counter to the look on her face.
she looks calm and composed, but her feelings are a mixture of grief, and anger, and sorrow... but underneath it all, purpose. she is not about to let this place keep taking people from them.]

[ the quiet. he's always liked high places, though - a bird before he ever got his wings. truly, the fate touched.
