[hello, vax! assuming he, at some point, wanders through the central node, he'll find jiuqing - who has a mark on one cheek that looks like it will eventually be turning into a bruise (i feel he would know what that looks like given his everything), sitting on a bench and contemplating one of her acupuncture needles.]

[this is where i'd normally have her look up after hearing footsteps but he is stealthy so for all i know she wouldn't hear them i will leave that up to you]

he is however not trying to sneak up on her, so. when he realizes someone else is around, vax comes out of Stealth Mode and tucks his hands in his pockets. he is now much more feathery than the last time she would have seen him, but - ]

What've you got there? [ once he comes into view. ] And - hold on. What happened to your face?

Oh - I got a set of my acupuncture needles back. I was thinking about how I might be able to use my color on it...

[she nods a greeting to him, then makes a face at the question.]

I seem to have upset one of the more volatile people here. But it's alright - I've had worse. And I know how to treat it.

[ for the first time I'm not playing a danmei or someone who would have ANY idea what that is, but, he scooches closer to take a look at the needles. ]

's good. That you can treat it, least. Didn't your thing say you were a doctor?

[she nods]

Yes. To put it simply, it's a form of medical treatment where you insert needles at specific points in the body to stimulate healing. Of course, it's a bit more complicated than that, but... that's the general gist of it.

[they're pretty thin needles! ...but if she can make them sturdier, they'll probably be useful for the clowns and monsters and ghosts.]

That's right. You don't need to worry - I've dealt with much worse things than a simple bruise.

[daggering]

[ that sounds terrible actually? he will take pickles or his own lay hands over needles ]

Get stabbed to help a stab, huh? Sure. [ wild ] But - even if you've dealt with something worse, that doesn't mean its fun to deal with, doc.

[ just saying! ] Are you gonna poke yourself with 'em because of it?

[she laughs]

Bandages would be better for that. But it's good for pain relief, and clearing up tension, and helping to diagnose illnesses that aren't so easily seen at a glance.

...for a mark like this, there won't be any need for the needles. It will probably bruise, but that will fade on its own after a few days, and in the meantime applying cool water to it from time to time will help keep the swelling down. It's not severe.

Ah, well. With an attitude like his, one of these days he's bound to land himself in enough trouble that he won't have any choice but to ask for help.

I think that will make him more angry than anything else could.
