relevant to this: checked out the carnival. there was some weird shit there but only there -- shoes felt like they were full of water, but it stopped as soon as we left. there were some footprints, watery looking ones, as well but we couldn't catch any detail about them. just that they were there.

nah the carnival looked just like it normally does.
it was just the footprints and the feeling our shoes were full of water.

couldn't tell the direction the prints were going or coming from either -- but if we get the chance to look again and find something, it could be an idea of at least the locations ryunosuke or his killer went to last night.

and not simply a result of his wounds worsening overnight without someone there to help him?

i think, given the way people's emotions have been messed with over the past week and especially after yesterday, it's not out of impossible territory.

realistically, we'll only know more when we figure out where his body went. but there were nine other people who were all injured yesterday and none of them died suddenly overnight.

maybe it was bad luck. maybe he woke up and heard something and someone spotted him.

maybe he saw something he shouldn't have?

i suppose all we can do right at this moment is guess at what it might have been...

but we'll have to keep looking for some kind of clue

might be worth checking the carnival and the medbay tomorrow. see if we can spot those footprints again, or if the body's back.

[alas, they haven't gotten a convenient calendar event added to their phones unless the mods said that somewhere that i didn't see, so she doesn't know there's going to be a trial even though oocly we all know it]

kinda makes you wonder if we should be checking everything daily or something. just in case.
