... There's a couple of things I've noticed that have been weird like that. Why did we have the note specifically asking us to go to the Workshop, when there was nothing in the Workshop to be found?

The note said to look at both the beach and the workshop, didn't it?

And... they're both connected to the same node, so to get to either one you'd be going to the same general area to start with. I don't know what caused that note to be written, but maybe whoever wrote it saw something and got mixed up somehow.
