[he's asking this genuinely because her profile doesn't say and he

... well, everyone that's been summoned has been a man...
And when we go to missions, it's usually battlefields... [so just. more stinky men.] I know there's been powerful women throughout history - I just haven't come across them personally so far.
[the only reason buzen doesn't get to be majoring in respecting women is bc he's never met one,]
Being here is the first place I've gotten to talk to them. Well, you.
Ah, I see... that makes sense. It was difficult enough for me to get myself to the battlefield, and even I had to fight to not get sent back home even though the general knew full well what a skilled doctor I am.
[something something "i want to protect you" shut up general lin]
You'll get plenty of practice with it here, I'm sure. Which means when you return home you'll be much more well-rounded from your experiences!
It's a recent development. A friend of mine went to join the army as a soldier, and I convinced her to bring me along to serve as a doctor. People are bound to be injured during battle, after all.
Perhaps not for a beginner, but that's alright. I've had comrades who are dressed similarly when they go into battle.
[he'll get to it though, holding onto her hand with one of his own - lightly, just lifted at her fingertips to extend her arm - while his other goes to carefully roll the excess fabric up]
If I had my way, I'd make you a terror on the battlefield.
[she smiles, watching him roll up her sleeve so she can get a feel for how high up she needs to roll it for next time.]
Well, there's no reason why we can't work toward that. Can you imagine the army's surprise if their doctor returned and was just as fierce as they were?

[he just nods his head obediently....]
Sorry. I've never really spoken to ladies before. ... Ever...?

Do tsukumogami typically not associate with women?

You're familiar with the battlefield then? I'm not too surprised - you handled Garou-san well!

But you're right - and your services will save so many. I hope that you will find your own peace and health amidst everything, too.

And if you ever want a tip or two on how to hold your own just in case things do get rough, I'm also at your service.

How could I mind? Sparring sounds like fun, actually. I can teach you how to throw a mean punch too, even without a weapon.

[buzen will roll his - right shoulder. i've decided that's the uninjured one. he goes to push up his sleeve before looking at... hers...
and laughing a bit]
Do I have permission to adjust your sleeves a bit, Doctor Su?

[she looks at her sleeves.]
I suppose this isn't the best attire for such a lesson, is it...

It'll definitely give you an element of surprise - and that can turn the tide of any battle, as one of my former captains would say.
Something about keeping the heart young, too!
