I assume they did not count on us noticing Itsuki did it himself. They were trying to create confusion and obscure the truth, and likely did not know what his gumballs did; they simply took the first one they found to try to make it seem used.
none that we can be certain of, but given that we were attempting to make predictions just this week, i would feel better if you confirmed that you will pick yourself.
Shale isn't even sure if I can cure someone who only started refracting the week I pick them. I'm not foolish enough to prioritize blindly guessing with those odds.
oh... i may have misunderstood i thought that it would perhaps not take effect soon enough to prevent a murder, but that if you did pick someone the same week they would be fine afterward
That's what I was hoping, but when I asked Shale after painting Vax'ildan, he said we couldn't really know unless it actually happened. And since Vax'ildan wasn't refracting, we have no confirmation.
I dont know for sure steelsan just said she thought my duties were coming to an end soon but she didnt say when i can ask her but the other residents didnt seem to think the refractions were going to just stop happening so im not sure what it means
The important part of Roxana's: "I had a dream/memory that implied memory loss happened by putting too much of yourself/color to create in the Prism. Dreamer trespassed into Heliotrope somehow. Ask if anyone has read a journal in there even if it’s no longer there. Stop apologizing and start disrupting the prism like the music room. Think of ways to transform it."
buzen said 'things have to change - the Residents need to be encouraged to face the Prism as a problem. Good job with Steel-san. Dreamer-san suggests destruction, Thinker-san (Momo-san) says transformation might be possible. It just can’t stay the same'
and roxana said 'All the residents I talked to here say disruption is key, so try to cause disruptions and tears like in the music room around the Prism, but don’t go too wild. Try not to directly touch that tear either'
were okay things like that arent so different from what we do at home and even though he killed itsuki in a horrible way its not like we wanted to torture him or anything
[And there's something to be said for action--for any semblance of control you can find, in the most powerless of situations. They're doing better now than they were yesterday, when everything seemed hopeless and horrible.]
