That memory that was mentioned before-- the person refracting in it was blue and red, were they not...? I suppose given Dreamer's apparent support of refraction, they must have instigated matters somehow.
I found little of interest in the dinosaur park, but I was able to use my shape to travel with the larger ones and located a paper.
[he sends a picture of a paper that just has this.]
As a warning, Shale and I aren't sure if this will actually cure Vax'ildan if he starts refracting later this week, given that we've never hit a case like that. But it should at least provide a hint as to whether or not he is, based on if he's still behaving oddly this weekend.
Yes, it sounds like perhaps Dreamer's plan was for Revenge to kill him, since we know that someone who was most likely Revenge was supporting his plans before. Going with what Emet-Selch said, Dreamer's plan may have been to start the refraction in an attempt to break the Prism...?
Also, did any of us tell Yasusada and Emet-Selch what we found in the volcano?
we found letters again, but we also saw a vision. i'll try to summarize it as best i can - clarte and miss nogiku can jump in if i've missed anything.
but we saw it from... i think it was probably bass's perspective. he was on the carousel, and it was bloody, sort of like how it was when we first arrived here. he was talking to someone he couldn't see, but who he knew was there.
he was asking how to get to them, and mentioned that thinker was trying to contact them. the other person said that the prism absorbs everything and that it seemed impossible that they were still there, but he pointed out that they were the one who picked up the "reading".
the two of them talked about consciousness versus unconsciousness and whether or not they really wanted to bring them back. but then they said that the prism takes pieces of ourselves and if those bigger pieces are contained somewhere else, it should be possible to put them together and make a whole picture.
then there were numbers and strings of color that floated across our vision. i didn't really know what they meant...
Based on what we have learned so far, I assumed they were talking to Scout and the conversation took place after Dreamer's death. But what do you all think?
Last we spoke, Bass said he had put a lot of himself into the prism, while losing his memories-- which is, for the record, a reason he cautioned against trying to destroy anything here and recreate it anew. Dreamer's note mentioned using 'a bit of soul' as well.
I begin to wonder if the necessary change which has been spoken of is less along the lines of simple destruction, and more... taking back what it was given. Restoring all of the pieces.
so... Dreamer asked Revenge to kill him, because Dreamer believed refraction could make the prism better, or something. Then Bass was talking to Scout about Thinker trying to... what, contact the dead? Dreamer? Something else?/ and then Dreamer came back corrupted and wrong??
[He's trying to sort out the timeline of events they know about]
[WELL it takes a while for Yasusada to send this message because THAT'S THEIR IN-LAW AND HIS FELLOW MARINE AND HE'S UPSET!!!!! BUT EVENTUALLY:]
no interfering this time i didnt see any people at all went to the dinosaur park and found im not sure but it felt like soft fur?/ itll probably be there tomorrow volcano seemed quiet so probably nothing in there
